I can't help it...

I try my best not to be THAT Mom who gushes about her children all the time, but I just have to share my six-year-old's portrait of my husband.

  1. It's perfectly OK, you're allowed. Tell your daughter I said, "great job!"

  2. Mimi-

You SHOULD be proud!!!...amazing how the eyes are placed in the center of the head...a true perspective for face drawing!! that is something that is hard to teach anyone learning to draw...and this is your precious six-year old! Beautiful work...wonderful talent!!

  3. she has the gift! gush gush about your wee bairns! that's what mamas do! and blogs are fun places to express your feelings. Lord knows I brag about mine all the time! My Grandmother used to say "Every crow thinks hers is the blackest" isn't that the truth! I adore children's work as it is so honest and raw. Does she have a sketch pad?

  4. Thank you! She does indeed have a sketch pad, and an "art wall" to display her work. I just love it! We're off to art class this morning!

I love that crow phrase... I'm gonna start using it!
